Position Overview: Power your future with Qualus as a Senior Business Development Manager. The Client Manager is responsible for driving business development and expanding market share for Qualus Commercial and Industrial Engineering Services. This role focuses on both acquiring new clients and growing existing accounts within an assigned territory. Responsibilities: Leads the solicitation of sales for company products and services to Purchasing, Maintenance, and Engineering Departments within a defined territory. Strategically manages territory and campaigns to achieve sales targets and enhance customer relationships. Proactively engages with current and prospective clients, dedicating a minimum of fifteen (15) hours per week to direct client interactions. Generates designated number of qualified quotes per week. Establishes and achieves sales targets, driving revenue growth and acquiring new customers within the assigned territory. Follows the best practices of the selling process and the CRM system. Prepares and presents forecast potential monthly. Uses and maintains the CRM data concerning leads, targets, accounts, contacts, and opportunities on all clients and prospective clients. Ensures schedules and appointments are kept accurately in CRM properly reflecting time spent with customers and quote activities and uses task assignments in CRM to ensure proper follow up/follow through. Ensures customer/project information is gathered for accurate timely quotes. Assists inside personnel in the development of presentations and quotations. Schedules and coordinates joint sales appointments with manufacturers. Actively seeks out customer feedback and facilitates a better understanding of customer needs and communicates internally. Develops key account contacts, researches customer needs and creates high value solutions in an effort to establish long term, ongoing relationships and referral streams for new business development opportunities and to ensure a high percentage of sales closures. Creates timely reports to include sales activity, quotation activity, trip reports, and expense reports. Travels outside of the office at times requiring overnight stays of four to six nights per month. Qualifications: Bachelors Degree in Engineering or Technical Business Management is preferred. 5-10 years of direct power engineering or electrical testing/construction services work and/or sales experience. Knowledge of the electrical and power industry is required. Ability to carry out instructions furnished in written or oral form; deal with problems involving several concrete variables. Ability to read company manuals and reports, workplace rules and procedures; speak with poise and confidence, using correct English. Properly construct written proposals. Ability to use CRM, SharePoint, Outlook, Excel, and Word proficiently.
