You will be responsible for problem resolution beginning to end, taking ownership for research and for communicating with your technical counterparts at our customer organizations.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Offer expert technical support to developers globally, assisting with issues related to software configuration, deployment, integration, development, performance, and scalability.

  4. Serve as a liaison between customer developers and InterSystems product and development teams, advocating for customer needs and driving resolution of escalated technical issues.
Requirements:
  1. Customer-focused mindset with a passion for delivering exceptional service and support.
  2. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex technical problems and provide effective solutions.
  3. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts clearly and concisely.
  4. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field.
  5. Experience (3+ years) in software development with a strong focus on C/C++ programming and systems-level programming.
  6. Proficiency in kernel-level programming concepts and techniques, especially with process handling, system calls, memory management, and storage devices.
  7. Solid understanding of operating system internals, particularly Unix/Linux and Windows.
  8. Experience with debugging tools and techniques for troubleshooting low-level software and kernel-related issues.
  9. After completing training for your role, you will be required to participate in extended support coverage on a rotational basis. This will require you to work occasional weekend or evening hours. This additional time would be compensated.
Extra Credit Qualifications:
  1. Familiarity with InterSystems technologies such as InterSystems IRIS, Cache, or HealthShare.
  2. Previous experience working in a technical support or customer-facing role.
  3. Knowledge of healthcare data standards and protocols (e.g., HL7, FHIR).
