Minimum requirements: Master's degree or its equivalent in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical field; plus 5 years of experience in any occupation/title providing experience in Java and WebUI related development. Alternatively, will accept a Bachelor's degree or its equivalent in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical field; plus 7 years of experience in any occupation/title providing experience in Java and WebUI related development.

Must have: Demonstrated expert level knowledge of Core Java and solid understanding of latest Java features like Functional programming, Garbage Collection, Performance Monitoring, Lambda's and declarative programming techniques, latest Junit framework; Demonstrated solid knowledge of core Web UI technologies including HTML5, JavaScript and CSS; Demonstrated solid experience working with React.js, TypeScript, Redux, Sagas, and the related technology stack; Demonstrated solid knowledge of Spring Boot and Spring MVC based applications; Demonstrated solid knowledge of point to point protocol implementation like TCP-IP using Java NIO; Demonstrated solid experience with Node.js and server-side frameworks such as Nest, GraphQL; Demonstrated solid experience with JavaScript-based unit testing frameworks such Jest, Enzyme and React-testing library; and Demonstrated experience with CI/CD tools/languages like Jenkins, GIT, Groovy. (Unless otherwise indicated, State Street is seeking the stated ability in the skills listed above with no specific number of years or amount of experience required.
