Position: Productions Support Analyst/Engineer
Location: New York City or Boston, MA (onsite)
Key Requirement: Candidates must possess hands-on experience with the Charles River application software, commonly referred to as "Charles River IMS" or "Charles River Investment Management Solution", developed by Charles River Development.
Essential expertise includes proficiency in FIX protocol integration with various financial market data providers and practical experience in FIX messaging parsing.
Ideal candidates will have a background in hedge funds, investment banks, mutual funds, or financial asset management, as this experience is crucial for the role.
Role Responsibilities:
- Provide production support for portfolio management and trading functions utilizing Charles River Development (CRD).
- Engage with various FIX integration venues and support FIX messaging parsing within CRD.
- Act as the primary support contact for daily trading workflows, ensuring timely resolution of issues to meet trading deadlines.
- Set up and configure various CRD components, including Workbench and Trading Blotter, to facilitate the workflows of the Portfolio Management and Trading teams.
- Utilize SQL and Windows Servers in the support of CRD operations.
Educational Background: A Bachelor's Degree is required for this position.
