Job Summary

We are looking for a talented DevOps Engineer to support the design, development, and maintenance of our Enterprise Service Platforms. As a key member of our Corporate IT team, you will work closely with our development manager to implement and maintain our infrastructure, ensuring seamless delivery of applications and business services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement enterprise service platforms, ensuring scalability and reliability
  • Implement monitoring and automation tools to improve efficiency and reduce downtime
  • Develop and maintain configuration management tools, such as Puppet, Chef, or Ansible
  • Provide support to development delivery teams, including troubleshooting and resolving issues
  • Develop subject matter expertise in application technology stacks and system implementation
  • Support the delivery of applications and business services, understanding the technology stack as a whole
  • Learn and improve operations of systems and products, staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices
  • Partner effectively with team members to build a strong foundation for system fundamentals, including AD, security, and more
Requirements
  • BS degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a similar technical subject
  • Three or more years of related work experience
  • Strong analytical and research skills, with attention to detail
  • Demonstrated understanding of NAS, SAN, CIFS, NFS, TCP/IP, LDAP, SSH, DNS, SMTP, load balancing, and troubleshooting
  • Experience implementing, managing, and maintaining large-scale virtualized environments
  • Strong scripting capability around systems integration and management
  • Experience with multiple monitoring methodologies, WMI, SSH, agent-based, SNMP, and push-pull concepts
  • Experience with infrastructure as code development techniques and tools, such as TFS, GIT repos, forking, branching, and pull requests
  • Use of continuous integration tools and techniques, such as TFS release manager and Jenkins
  • SQL and Oracle query coding understanding to debug data errors
  • Understanding of programming concepts, such as Object-Oriented Programming
  • Linux administration and support experience
  • Preferred: High energy, positive attitude, professional, and mature
