The Position
Our bank client is seeking to fill a Loan Operations Specialist role in the Houston, TX market. The selected candidate will perform due diligence and documentation preparation for loan documentation requests received in Loan Operations.
This position offers a generous salary of up to $70K and full benefits package.
Loan Operations Specialist responsibilities include:
Cross-training in all functions of loan operations.
Preparing in-house loan advance payments.
Performing posting of sold loan payments.
Processing residential construction loan draws and paid out loans.
Processing credit exceptions and maintaining reporting system.
Maintaining auto lease reporting and maintaining documents.
Scanning and indexing loan documents to image system.
Recording security interest documents.
Interacting positively with other departments and offices to achieve a teamwork environment by maintaining external and internal customer service.
Assisting with special projects as requested.
Other duties may be assigned.

You also bring the following skills and experience:
College degree preferred. Completion of banking courses encouraged.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as operating and maintenance instructions, policy, and procedure manuals.
Ability to write routine reports and correspondence effectively.
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as interest, percentages, and loan payoffs.
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
Knowledge of word processing software, document tracking software, spreadsheet software and Microsoft Office software.
