Position Overview

The Senior Loan Servicing Analyst plays a critical role in supporting Portfolio Managers with the management of diverse portfolios of commercial real estate loans.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough research and financial analysis on commercial real estate assets, loans, and portfolios.
  • Review and validate the analyses completed by Portfolio Analysts.
  • Interpret and analyze property operating statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Assess and present borrower communications regarding lender consent items.
  • Prepare detailed analyses of borrower requests related to commercial real estate properties securing loans.
  • Facilitate weekly discussions with lenders and borrowers to explore client management opportunities and address current loan portfolio performance.
  • Address lender inquiries concerning property and loan-level issues, including performance metrics, valuations, inspections, and market assessments.
  • Provide training to team members on operating statement analysis, valuations, reporting, and lender consent processes.
Qualifications

To excel in this role, candidates should possess the following:

  • A minimum of a High School diploma or GED, with at least 5 years of relevant experience; a Bachelor's degree is preferred.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and analytical capabilities.
  • Ability to deliver timely and courteous service to clients.
  • Proficiency in presenting information effectively.
  • Familiarity with financial terminology and principles.
  • Competence in performing intermediate calculations and basic financial analyses.
  • Ability to comprehend and interpret complex documents.
  • Problem-solving skills in multifaceted situations.
  • Intermediate analytical and quantitative skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Experience with loan servicing database systems, preferably McCracken Strategy.
