We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Inventory and Purchasing Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will manage and control inventory, order parts, search for better pricing, and help improve processes to mitigate loss. This role is crucial to ensuring the smooth operation of our inventory and purchasing functions.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage purchase orders, ensuring timely and accurate processing.

Receive and inspect incoming inventory shipments for quality and accuracy.

Maintain accurate inventory records using inventory management software.

Monitor inventory levels and conduct regular physical inventory counts to reconcile discrepancies.

Search for and evaluate alternative suppliers to find better pricing for parts and materials.

Assist in developing and implementing process improvements to optimize inventory control and reduce costs.

Collaborate with internal teams to forecast inventory needs and generate reorder requests.

Prepare and package orders for shipment, ensuring accurate labeling and documentation.

Coordinate with shipping carriers to schedule pickups and track shipments.

Address and resolve any shipping-related issues, such as delays or damages.

Provide support to various departments as needed, including data entry, report generation, and administrative tasks.

Required Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor’s degree in business administration or a related field preferred).

Proven experience in inventory management, purchasing, or related roles.

Strong proficiency in inventory management software and MS Office Suite.

Excellent organizational and time management skills.

Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.

Effective written and verbal communication abilities.

Ability to prioritize tasks and work well under pressure.

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Familiarity with warehousing operations, purchase orders, and inventory control processes.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with NetSuite and Salesforce.

Knowledge of shipping and logistics processes.

Familiarity with process improvement methodologies.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
