Supply Chain Coordinator and Resident Transporter

Phoenix Senior Living is in search of a Supply Chain Coordinator and Resident Transporter for our esteemed community.
Schedule:
Monday - Friday; 40 hours per week
FUNCTION:
The Supply Chain Coordinator collaborates closely with the Nursing Director and Business Office Manager to ensure the effective receipt, distribution, and accurate billing of supplies.
This role also encompasses the responsibility of maintaining the inventory management system. As a Transporter, this individual will ensure the safe transportation of residents to their scheduled activities and appointments.PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Supply Chain Coordinator:
- Utilize the e-procurement system and maintain necessary spreadsheets for entry into the inventory management system.
- Ensure all resident charges are accurately recorded in the billing system.
- Complete daily and/or weekly scanning tasks to verify accuracy by the end of each month.
- Prepare the monthly expenditure report, documenting all purchases for budgetary review.
- Coordinate the ordering of all necessary supplies with nursing and other staff members.
- Ensure that all costs are accurately linked to charges.
- Oversee the supply check-in process upon delivery and verify against purchase orders.
- Monitor usage patterns of supplies.
- Conduct daily and monthly physical inventory checks and reconciliations.
- Demonstrate respect for the rights, dignity, and individuality of each resident in all interactions.
- Understand and adhere to emergency and disaster procedures of the facility.
- Show respect for colleagues and respond to the needs of residents while complying with facility policies.
- Exhibit the ability to multitask and manage stress effectively.
- Follow all safety protocols when handling supplies and equipment.
- Capable of performing essential job functions (with or without reasonable accommodation).
- Maintain confidentiality of resident information at all times.
- Ensure that supply and storage areas are kept organized, tidy, and safe.
- Deliver emergency supplies and equipment as needed.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
TRANSPORTER:
- Conduct daily safety inspections of the vehicle.
- Report any vehicle-related issues, routing, or scheduling concerns to the Executive Director immediately.
- Provide safe assistance and transportation for residents.
- Maintain cleanliness of the interior of the company vehicle.
- Perform daily refueling and weekly fluid checks of the vehicle.
- Exhibit patience and tact in interactions with residents.
- Must be dependable and able to work independently while remaining calm in emergencies.
- Understand essential duties for safety and regulatory compliance and complete required driver training successfully.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements.
- Proficient in using personal computers and software applications relevant to job functions (word processing, graphics, databases, spreadsheets, etc.).
- Strong organizational and analytical skills; effective oral and written communication abilities.
- Maintain a valid Driver's License.
- Previous experience in transporting elderly or physically/mentally challenged individuals is preferred.
Education and/or Experience:
- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent; SRNA certification is preferred.
