This role is located in our Central Office in Rivervale and is a permanent full-time position working 76 hours per fortnight. We’ll also be asking you to: Oversee and manage the installation, configuration, and maintenance of servers, networks, and storage systems including the technology support functions. Oversee and manage cloud infrastructure services and support. Ensure high availability and disaster recovery plans are in place and tested regularly. Design, implement, and manage robust network architectures. Oversee network security measures to protect data, systems, and networks from potential threats. Ensure the team provides proactive customer service in their communications and action to support services in a positive fashion. Oversee and manage security protocols and policies, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. Prepare regular reports on infrastructure performance and improvement initiatives. Ensure the delivery of infrastructure that is responsive to different services needs including remote and in-field operations and services to consumers. Foster and actively contribute to a culture of continual improvement and make a lasting positive impact on the organisation, its people, and the communities we serve. Effectively manage compliance requirements for your team, ensuring documentation is up to date and uploaded to the Employee Self Service (ESS) software in a timely manner. Guide and mentor employees on the importance of adhering to safety protocols and provide opportunities for employees to receive relevant and up-to-date training and instruction. Model safe behavior and drive improvement by leveraging resources, providing coaching and documenting safety outcomes with team members. To be considered for the role, you will need: Previous experience in a leadership or supervisory position and in the delivery of proactive customer service. A track record of delivering results in a fast-paced IT environment. Expertise in technology roadmap planning and project management. In-depth knowledge of IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, storage, cloud, and virtualization technologies. An understanding of infrastructure design principles and best practices. Knowledge of system monitoring, performance tuning, and capacity planning. Previous experience in implementing and maintaining backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity planning, testing, and processes. Demonstrated understanding of network security, firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection/prevention systems. In-depth knowledge of ITSM and ITIL frameworks (V3 or V4). Demonstrated ability to follow risk management strategies, identify and report hazards, and adhere to work health and safety policies and procedures. Ability to drive change and business improvements in collaboration with key stakeholders. Proven skill in managing small to medium-sized Technology projects to deliver required results.
