We are currently seeking to fill a Property Accountant position within our small team of professionals in our DTLA office. This position requires 3+ years of corporate and/or property accounting experience. The Property Accountant will be responsible for working closely with our Property Management team for property accounting responsibilities on Commercial and Industrial buildings and will report directly to the Controller of the company. Key duties and qualifications include, but are not limited to: Prepare journal entries Perform bank and account reconciliations on a weekly and monthly basis Perform monthly credit card reconciliation Manage month-end accounting process Manage expenses, receivables, and inter-company reimbursements Analyze financial statements Prepare and send annual 1099s Assist with the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting for company investments Assist with the preparation of the budget Assist with audit and tax requests Assist with CAM reconciliation Manage vendor records Process payment to vendors Assist with property accounting responsibilities Assist with ad-hoc requests Work on special projects and complete other duties when required Key Qualifications Include: Minimum of three years of professional experience in corporate or property accounting capacity Bachelor's degree in accounting, or equivalent Expertise in Yardi required Fast learner Must be very organized and exhibit a professional and personable attitude Team-oriented and entrepreneurial with the ability to work well under pressure Salary range: $80,000 #J-18808-Ljbffr
