Position Summary: The Regional Property Manager showcases exceptional leadership skills and effectively oversees their team with a focus on accountability.

Reporting To: Regional Portfolio Manager

Job Type: Exempt

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct regular property inspections within the assigned portfolio.
  • Adhere to established daily, weekly, and monthly deadlines set for the team.
  • Serve as the primary liaison for property owners and managers.
  • Oversee a portfolio of multi-family affordable housing properties in the designated region.
  • Assist in the formulation and enforcement of company policies and procedures related to property management.
  • Responsible for monthly budget management and financial review.
  • Ensure the upkeep and performance of assigned properties.
  • Directly supervise team members to guarantee timely project completion, rent collection, and timesheet accuracy.
  • Monitor and manage annual re-certifications for properties.
  • Make hiring decisions to ensure optimal staff placement.
  • Evaluate property needs through staff performance assessments.
  • Assist with additional responsibilities as required.

Qualifications:

  • Demonstrates excellent written and verbal communication skills with a service-oriented approach.
  • Possesses strong problem-solving skills, able to synthesize diverse opinions and propose solutions.
  • Experience in managing, scheduling, and inspecting property maintenance, marketing, and insurance.
  • Exhibits strong supervisory, personnel management, and organizational capabilities.
  • Communicates effectively and clearly.
  • Displays professionalism, self-confidence, initiative, and sound judgment.
  • Takes action with appropriate urgency, empathy, and enthusiasm.

Additional Qualifications:

  • Experience in supervising multiple properties (Required)
  • Experience in managing staff (Required)
  • Familiarity with Yardi Voyager (Required)
  • Proficient understanding of California Property Management Policies and Procedures

Education:

  • Certification in Fair Housing (Preferred)
  • Real Estate License (Preferred)
