Objective


The Senior Property Accountant is tasked with overseeing the comprehensive accounting and financial reporting for a diverse portfolio of real estate assets.

The ideal candidate will possess a robust understanding of accounting principles and practices, along with experience in utilizing property management software.

Responsibilities

  • Generate financial statements and reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Reconcile bank accounts as well as accounts payable and receivable.
  • Administer property tax and insurance escrow accounts.
  • Develop budgets and financial forecasts.
  • Analyze financial data to identify trends and insights.
  • Provide financial guidance to management.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related discipline.
  • CPA certification is preferred.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in property accounting.
  • Strong grasp of accounting principles and practices.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and various property management software.
