Job Description:

· We are seeking a meticulous and highly organized Administrative Assistant to support our procurement team in a critical short-term project.

· The successful candidate will be responsible for reaching out to Parker suppliers to confirm delivery dates on a large volume of purchase orders, ensuring timely and accurate information is obtained and documented.

· This role requires a professional who can manage a challenging environment, effectively communicate with vendors, and maintain meticulous records.

Key responsibilities:

· Supplier Communication: Initiate and maintain clear, professional communication with Parker suppliers to confirm and verify delivery dates for purchase orders.

· Order Verification: Review and manage hundreds of purchase orders, ensuring all details are accurate and up to date.

· Documentation: Accurately document and update delivery confirmations in the system, ensuring all data is organized and easily accessible.

· Follow-up: Demonstrate persistence and a strong sense of urgency in following up with suppliers to secure timely responses and resolve any discrepancies.

· Coordination: Collaborate with the procurement team to address any issues related to delivery dates, ensuring alignment with project timelines.

Requirements:

· Education: High School Diploma or GED required.

· Experience: Previous experience in an administrative or procurement support role is preferred.

Skills:

· Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.

· Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
