Event Sales Director

As our Event Sales Director, you will lead a team of 5-6 Account Executives (AEs) responsible for selling opportunities both at trade shows and in-office. You will oversee all aspects of team management, performance, and process improvement related to event-based sales.

This position will be in office at our Lehi, UT HQ with travel

Reports to: VP of Sales

What You Will Own

Hiring, ramping, and managing a team of 5-6 AEs. Traveling to new and smaller trade shows and seminars with AEs to provide coaching and enhance sales processes. This includes booth setup, selling on the floor, gathering leads to work back in the office, and assisting any current customers you may meet while attending these events Maintaining sold-at-show targets, conversion rates, and hit/exceed EQL/ sold at show targets specific to each show. Developing a new training program for event sales, improving lead working SLA and process, pipeline management, and performance management Collaborating with internal teams such as sales directors, field marketing, and revenue operations to optimize event strategies.

What You Will Need to Accomplish the Job

Strong understanding/experience of event-based sales processes, including demoing prospects, closing deals, capturing leads (EQLS), and navigating customer interactions and the ability to build process & training around all of the above Excellent organizational skills Ability to travel with, set up & tear down booth materials (backdrop, table, decor, demo equipment) Professionalism representing Weave in the field
