Role Overview

We are in search of an Events Marketing Manager to enhance our marketing team. This position can be based remotely or from our office. You will play a vital role in orchestrating sales roadshows, tailored practitioner gatherings, and significant conferences. Your contributions will be essential in crafting memorable event experiences that drive business success. This role involves minimal travel, estimated at less than 20%.

Key Responsibilities:

Event Planning

  • Assist in the organization of various events, including conferences, summits, and retreats.
  • Work closely with key stakeholders to ensure events align with marketing and sales objectives.
  • Introduce innovative concepts and best practices to enhance SmithRx's event strategy.
  • Identify the resources necessary for successful execution.

Event Execution

  • Support logistics including budgeting, venue selection, vendor coordination, and production.
  • Manage promotional items, including sourcing, inventory, tracking, and distribution.
  • Coordinate travel arrangements and manage the delivery of materials and merchandise.
  • Oversee event timelines and resources, ensuring high-quality standards are met.
  • Ensure that events convey a consistent brand message and adhere to SmithRx's corporate identity.
  • Collaborate with marketing and communications teams to create event-specific promotional materials.

Financial Management

  • Monitor expenses, manage vendor agreements, and negotiate favorable terms.

Reporting and Analysis

  • Collect data and insights to evaluate event effectiveness, pinpoint areas for enhancement, and inform strategic decisions.

Collaboration

  • Work closely with internal teams and external partners to ensure smooth execution and exceptional event experiences.
  • Support the sales team with regional events, including office gatherings and sponsorships.
  • Facilitate weekly company-wide meetings.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, business, or a related discipline.
  • 3+ years of experience in event management, particularly with large-scale conferences and corporate events.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver high-quality events on schedule and within budget.
  • Strong project management skills, capable of prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities, fostering relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Creative approach with a focus on customer experience and engagement.
  • Familiarity with event technologies and analytics.
