What will you be doing?

World Wide Technology has an opportunity available for a Client Director to join our Global Sales team. This role will have direct responsibility for the strategy and execution of a specific account. You will partner effectively with the cross functional teams within WWT to formulate and drive an all-encompassing strategy from an idea to a business outcome. Also, as the Client Director, you will be expected to strategically drive WWTs end-to-end vision for our customer(s), as well as maintain an in-depth understanding of competitive conditions, industry practices, market opportunities, and customer requirements. In this role, you will also be expected to build, motivate, inspire, and continually develop his/her team while managing conflict, all the while, to gain market share and grow our revenue base/profitability.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Building and leading an account team, developing, and executing sales strategies, and accurate forecasting.
  • Focus on profitable revenue generation in product and services.
  • Expanding WWTs presence thru driving relevance to customer's key business objectives
  • Building and maintaining executive level relationships at Customer and Partners (OEMs)
  • Creating Value for client account from Idea to Outcome
  • Determining the optimal (and appropriate) coverage model across all teams and organizations within WWT
  • Lead the selling strategy creating short and long-term plans based on research and a deep understanding of business and technology trends
  • Travel 50% (national and international)

Critical Thinking: Identifying and understanding issues, problems, and opportunities; comparing data from different sources to address sales challenges and new opportunities; taking courses of action based on sound analysis and judgment that appropriately consider customer and partner (OEMs) business capabilities and issues, available facts, constraints, competitive circumstances and probable consequences.

Building Influential Relationships: Working collaboratively with customers, partners (OEMs), and cross functional team members to meet business goals and objectives; using appropriate communication methods to influence others and establish relationships.

Business and Financial Acumen: Understanding basic business financial strategies, performance indicators, and applying that knowledge to client's economic and buying environment.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Candidate needs to be based in the Toronto market.
  • A Bachelor's Degree; or equivalent experience is required. A Master of Science Degree, or an MBA is preferred.
  • 10-15+ Years Sales Experience in Financial Industry or Fortune 100 level Global account
  • 10+ Years of successful leadership, management and P&L management, plus extensive and proven experience mentoring/ coaching team members
  • 10-15+ Years of Experience Managing / Leading a book of business
  • Proven P&L management experience, very large account management with multiple business streams, cross functional team utilization and developing innovative business solutions solving complex business challenges of a customer(s)
