Job Summary:
Provides for optimal "First Impressions", operation, staffing and communication at the Main Lobby Desk. Serves as the communication link between families and visitors and all services provided by OPS. The provision of accurate information and individualized assistance to all customers is a key function. A "Servant" attitude is required in cooperation and communication with all internal and external customer groups. The desire to create a "remarkable" experience for all customer groups is the foundation for the performance of all staff.
Licensure:
- N/A
- Minimum of 1 year in customer service or related experience preferred.
- Minimum of a high school education or its equivalent (GED) preferred or currently enrolled.
- Demonstrates a strong understanding of the patient/guest relations function and how to meet the needs of callers, visitors members and associate staff.
- Requires analytical and organizational skills to coordinate and monitor activities, staffing, and services of assigned areas.
- Requires the ability to assess the needs of unit callers and visitors and provide and/or seek appropriate assistance to maintain desired levels of customer service.
- Requires the ability to multi-task and handle frequent interruptions.
- Requires leadership ability to foster group cohesion and success in meeting department goals/objectives.
- Requires strong interpersonal and public communication skills resulting in high satisfaction levels on behalf of all customer groups.
- Requires significant flexibility to support department staffing requirements and support for other team members.
- Requires a "servant" attitude towards others and the motivation to anticipate the needs of all customers.
- Requires the willingness to go above and beyond the stated duties of the job to create a remarkable experience whenever possible.
- Must be friendly, vibrant and outgoing.
- Requires an interest in health, fitness and/or sports.
