Job Summary

This position serves as the primary point of contact for clients, visitors, and guests, providing exceptional service and support to ensure a positive experience. As the first point of contact, the Front Desk Representative will be responsible for checking in guests, providing information regarding the Riley Center, and answering questions from visitors. They will also be responsible for answering phone calls and transferring clients to the appropriate departments within the Riley Center.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service to guests, visitors, and clients, ensuring a positive and memorable experience.
  • Front Desk Operations: Manage the front desk area, ensuring that all necessary information and resources are available to guests and staff.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with guests, visitors, and staff, providing clear and concise information and resolving any issues that may arise.
  • Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with the Riley Center General Manager, housekeeping, and other staff members to ensure seamless operations and exceptional guest service.
  • Administrative Tasks: Perform administrative tasks, such as checking availability, assigning rooms, and processing guest payments.
Requirements
  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years' experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in a hotel or hospitality setting.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment. Familiarity with Cloudbeds software is a plus.
Working Conditions

This position requires the ability to sit and stand for long periods of time, with occasional bending, stooping, and lifting up to 30 pounds. The employee must also be able to attend meetings on site and perform occasional overhead reaching, bending, stooping, twisting, and kneeling.
