Responsibilities

  • Deliver outstanding customer service by fostering relationships with both new and existing clients.

  • Handle all inquiries and requests efficiently and promptly.

  • Organize shipments by assessing destination, route, rate, delivery time, and carrier dispatches.

  • Maintain and generate files with all essential booking details (Purchase Order, Booking, Container Size, Temperature, Sail Date, etc.).

  • Verify shipped merchandise by matching bills of lading, reconciling quantities, and identifying discrepancies.

  • Keep customers informed about any product discrepancies received, such as damage, shortages, or overages.

  • Coordinate with the warehouse to ensure cargo is traced, cleared, and released at port facilities.

  • Communicate with carriers to resolve any arising issues.

  • Manage multiple on-hand reports.

  • Prepare and submit accurate and timely reports as required.

  • Promptly report and document any irregularities to supervisors.

  • Perform additional tasks as needed.
