POSITION SUMMARYThe Operational Team Lead will be responsible for overseeing and guiding a team of production employees to achieve goals and maintain high standards of quality. This role will require a combination of technical expertise, leadership skills, and effective communication to drive team success. CORE FUNCTIONS•Partner with the Leadership on employee scheduling, labor efficiency, work instructions, and throughput.•Collaborate with other area leads and supervisors to facilitate cross-training opportunities; develop employee knowledge in multiple skill sets.•Implement work instructions to ensure employee knowledge and accuracy is up to date.•Collaborate with purchasing, production scheduler, and shipping to monitor and maintain accurate inventory levels for all parts.•Effectively communicate maintenance issues and repair and replace consumables as needed.•Serve as a positive leader and mentor by exhibiting and instructing desirable behaviors and skill sets.•Serve as the initial point of contact and primary support resource for employees, functioning as the first line of defense in addressing and resolving various issues they may encounter.•Perform other related or non-related duties as assigned through on-the-job training.QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTSEducation and Experience•High school diploma or equivalent and/or a combination of experience and education required. •Minimum of 2 years in manufacturing and/or distribution setting with some leadership responsibilities required. •3-5 years in years in manufacturing and/or distribution setting with some leadership responsibilities preferred.
