Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Operations Director to lead our factory operations as a factory within a factory. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of improving production methods, equipment, and operating procedures to increase performance levels.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement strategies to manage Process Line to ensure corporate goals and objectives are met.
  • Communicate vision and expectations to department managers and provide regular progress reports to management.
  • Balance quality, productivity, cost, safety, and morale to achieve positive results in all areas.
  • Provide leadership that focuses the operational team on the corporate strategic plan.
  • Manage the development and implementation of improvement plans for the operation.
  • Provide leadership that creates an effective pace of improvement and fosters a problem-solving mentality.
  • Ensure compliance with company, national, state, and local standards.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering.
  • 10 years of progressive operational experience.
  • Working knowledge of metal cutting processes.
  • Knowledge of Continuous Improvement techniques.
  • Technical knowledge of machining, assembly, production planning.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead people and get results through others.
  • Interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Language Skills and Computer Skills.
Working Conditions

The work environment is similar to most manufacturing operations. May be exposed to excessive noise, temperatures, hazards associated with working around moving machinery, work in confined quarters, exposure to vibrations, and shop lighting.
