Assemble distilled information to produce concise research reports and memorandums on findings; Provide feedback and support to ensure that contract management processes are effective and efficient, and provides the best possible value to the IESO, Ontario’s power system, and Ontario’s ratepayers; Providing support in the resolution of major issues, particularly those that cross projects or have broad ramifications. And other duties or responsibilities as may be assigned. What you need to succeed: A four-year undergraduate degree in engineering, business, finance or economics is required. Pursuit or completion of a financial, technical or other professional designation, such as P.Eng, CFA, CA, PMP, etc., would be preferred. The minimum level of experience for the incumbent to perform at a satisfactory level of proficiency is 6-8 years including the period of adjustment on the job itself. Relevant nuclear power sector, project management or numerical/financial modeling work experience is not a requirement but would be an asset. General knowledge of legal, economic, financial, and/or engineering technical aspects of power generation. General knowledge of the technical aspects of electricity generation, including nuclear and hydroelectric generation. Demonstration of excellent analytical, financial modeling (using excel/ VBA), problem solving and presentation skills - able to analyze raw data, draw conclusions and develop practical recommendations. Must be detail oriented and must be able to handle multiple priorities. Advanced knowledge and skill level of Excel and databases (e.g., Tableau) with talent to build and maintain tracking tools.
