The Senior Analyst will be a key member of the Merchant Solutions team within the Data Science department, focusing on both tailored and scalable solutions for our clients. This role will significantly influence the team's strategy regarding solution development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Apply data science, analytical, and data engineering expertise to evaluate and deliver insights on merchant performance.
  • Effectively communicate analytical findings to stakeholders at various organizational levels.
  • Shape business priorities based on analytical outcomes and strategic recommendations.
  • Create dashboards, investigate fraud trends, and assist in optimal resource allocation.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline or equivalent professional experience
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience
  • Exceptional communication abilities
  • Proficiency in SQL and Python for data analysis
  • Experience with visualization tools such as Looker or Tableau
  • Project management capabilities for data analysis projects

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in fraud prevention, payment processing, or online retail
  • Data analysis experience in a distributed computing environment
  • Familiarity with Linux command line and version control systems
