Lucas Systems is currently seeking a Senior Business Development Representative for our office in Bracknell, UK. Along with Sales & Marketing leadership, you will develop and implement a predictable, metrics-driven, inbound/outbound lead generation strategy in the UK & EMEA. The ideal candidate is a ‘roll-up-your sleeves’ leader who can balance both strategic & tactical responsibilities. We are looking for someone to be ‘hands-on’ engaging mid-level and senior executives in our target market to include account research and prospecting, inbound & outbound lead qualification, and long-term relationship development. Lucas offers a dynamic, fast-paced environment, so the candidate must bring high energy, curiosity, a strong work ethic, and a sense of urgency to the position.

The role is hybrid in our Bracknell office - 3 days on site / 2 from home.

Responsibilities: • Establish performance goals for calls, emails, and appointments set. • Collaborate with Sales leadership to align activities with the overall sales strategy. • Develop & implement prospecting campaigns. • Follow up on leads from marketing activities, including trade shows, web inquiries. • Nurture prospects thru the sales funnel using CRM and marketing automation tools. • Participate in select sales calls to add value & grow your knowledge of the business. • Attend trade shows and other industry events (2-3 per year).

Requirements:

Minimum Qualifications • Bachelor’s Degree • Experience in an inbound/outbound lead generation function • Excellent verbal and written communications skills • Drive to learn and develop expertise in our domain. • Strong online research skills • Experience using MS Office tools and CRM software (Salesforce is preferred) • Familiarity with marketing automation tools (Pardot, Marketo, Eloqua) is a plus • Prior experience in, and familiarity with, the supply chain industry is a plus
