This role requires attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and effective communication. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Monitor customer accounts to ensure timely payment. Investigate and resolve discrepancies in payments. Communicate with customers to address billing inquiries and resolve issues. Implement and execute collection strategies to ensure timely payment. Contact customers to follow up on overdue payments. Negotiate and establish payment plans when necessary. Record and apply incoming payments to appropriate customer accounts. Reconcile discrepancies between payments and invoices. Assess creditworthiness of new and existing customers. Set credit limits and terms for customers. Monitor and enforce credit policies. Prepare and present regular reports on accounts receivable status. Provide analysis of aging reports and cash flow projections. Work closely with the sales and customer service teams to address customer issues. Collaborate with other departments to improve billing and collection processes. Assist office administrators in fixing invoices through credit memos or write offs Monitor retainage Performs all other duties as assigned. Requirements Experience Required: Associates or Bachelors, preferred but not required 2 to 3 years of Accounts Receivable experience 1+ years Construction Industry experience Proficient in CMIC and Microsoft Excel, preferred Professional certification (C3P/CARM), preferred Skills & Knowledge Required: Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent planning and time management abilities Attention to detail and accuracy Self-starter, desire to improve processes and create new reporting tools
