Position Overview:

As a Senior Accounts Receivable Specialist, you will be responsible for:

  • Engaging with clients to collect outstanding payments on both active and closed accounts through various communication methods, demonstrating exceptional customer service.
  • Facilitating payment negotiations for clients requiring assistance and ensuring timely follow-ups on pending actions or expired payment plans.
  • Delivering outstanding customer service while managing incoming inquiries from both external and internal stakeholders.
  • Overseeing a designated portfolio of accounts to ensure effective management.
  • Utilizing skip tracing techniques to locate customers and their assets when direct contact is challenging, and coordinating repossession when necessary.
  • Working collaboratively with various teams to address and resolve complex customer issues or complaints.
  • Providing insights and suggestions for process enhancements and training materials.
  • Adhering to corporate standards and compliance protocols.

Qualifications:

  • A high school diploma or GED is required; a Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
  • 1-2 years of experience in a customer service or collections role is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with the automotive sector is considered a plus.
