Grant Coordinator

is vital to ensuring the success of grant-funded projects and programs. This position focuses on conducting research to seek prospective public, corporate, and foundation funding opportunities to provide grant funding support for IDSA programs. This position also works at the direction of the Grant Writer to compose grant proposals and maintain the grant calendar and related tracking systems. The ideal candidate is a team player who has experience conducting research, writing, proofreading, and submitting grant applications on a timely basis. Characteristic Essential Responsibilities Program Coordination and Project Management: Conducts prospect research on private foundations, family foundations, individual donors, corporations, and government funding sources with aligned priorities Prepares philanthropy materials to support content including slide decks, press releases, grant attachments and program summaries Responsible for overseeing, developing, and editing all aspects of the grant year-round lifecycle to ensure compliance with grants terms and conditions Operations, Systems, and Processing Requests: Utilizes Salesforce, Classy, and Instrumental to manage data to ensure accurate donor reporting during Salesforce implementation Reconciles Salesforce and Classy reports with excel spreadsheets Maintains a comprehensive grant calendar and grant reports Administrative Assists Grant Writer and the Director of Individual Giving and Grants with production and proofreading of grant applications, and department publications Assists with special projects including

ID Week communication materials Works closely with the Grant Writer to track support request letters to ensure letters are vetted, approved, and submitted promptly. Coordinates grant meetings with other departments Maintains grant portal updates and registrations Performs other work-related duties as assigned Minimum Qualifications and Experience: Associate degree in related field; relevant experience can be submitted Two years of previous office support or administrative experience in a similar setting preferred. At least 2 years of experience in grant coordinator/writer role or similar preferred Non-profit or member association experience a plus Competencies:

Knowledge, skills, and abilities Strong writing, editing and proofreading skills Ability to meet changing deadlines and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment Strong written and oral communications skills Excellent organizational skills, ability to complete projects from start through completion Salesforce or similar CRM experience, preferred Proficiency in MS Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, etc.) Team player and ability to demonstrate initiative Working knowledge of Adobe suite of products, particularly Acrobat Ability to professionally interact with vendors, members, and colleagues Travel Requirements Ability to travel up to 10% of the time, including occasional weekends and evenings ID Week Annual All Staff Retreat - June End of year Celebration – December Other on-site management as needed Physical Demands This position requires sitting and/or standing at a desk, prolonged sitting and bending and lifting during travel, as well as extensive sitting, standing, walking, and lifting during
