Provide leadership and oversees day-to-day operations within the assigned department as directed by the Pressroom Manager. Work directly with other shift supervisors to meet department and facility initiatives. Meet quality, service and productivity levels by leading employees to meet customer requirements and deadlines. Partner with all site leadership to meet and exceed safety, productivity, quality and financial goals. Lead a team environment where team members are engaged in the continuous improvement process. Supervise employees in manufacturing area of expertise. Direct the activities of employees to ensure accurate communications and seamless operations within the company across shifts and departments and with vendors Achieve a high level of employee efficiency and morale through leadership and the use of sound management and human relations principles Use sound principals and techniques to manage and develop talent, skills, and processes Maintain thorough knowledge of all manufacturing processes, ISO and SOPs, continuous improvement, equipment, safety and other regulatory requirements Organize work for efficient operations. Ensures that departmental goals, including safety, quality, continuous improvement, and KPIs are established and met Administer policies and procedures. Follow positive employee relations practices. Selects and recommend candidates for hire, promotion, recognition, disciplinary action and/or termination keeping appropriate documentation Troubleshoot processes when necessary. Work with team members to resolve, and requests other resources as necessary Promote a positive work environment, sound training programs, and adherence to ISO work instructions and procedures Work closely with all departments to ensure the accuracy of work performed and the timely shipment of product to our customer to avoid missing SLA THIS IS A NIGHT SHIFT POSITION ON THE POPULAR 2:2:3 SCHEDULE WITH CORE HOURS BEING 6:30PM - 7:00AM. RRD IS AN EEO/AA INCLUDING VETS AND DISABLED EMPLOYER Required Skills Broad and strong technical knowledge in sheetfed offset printing Demonstrated ability to successfully manage people and direct work activities Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively at all levels within the organization are required Bias for process focus and the demonstrated ability to drive process improvement. Must have demonstrated flexibility to multi-task and shift focus and re-prioritize as the situation dictates Must have demonstrated ability to proactively approach problems and drive for results Previous onsite experience preferred Required Experience Broad and strong technical knowledge in sheetfed offset printing Demonstrated ability to successfully manage people and direct work activities Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively at all levels within the organization are required Bias for process focus and the demonstrated ability to drive process improvement. Must have demonstrated flexibility to multi-task and shift focus and re-prioritize as the situation dictates Must have demonstrated ability to proactively approach problems and drive for results Previous onsite experience preferred Minimum Requirements: Minimum of two (2) years of current clinical experience working in a similar environment as a phlebotomist. Possess and maintain a current certification and registration as a Phlebotomy Technician from the American Society of Clinical Pathology (PBT-ASCP), or a current certification and registration as a Phlebotomy Technician from the American Medical Technologist (RPT-AMT). Possess Basic Life Support (BLS)/Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR). Possess knowledge of medical terminology, allowing test requests and results to be understood and communicated. Knowledge of the type and severity of patient reactions, including, but not limited to, syncope, vomiting, and unconsciousness and the procedures for such instances. Must have exceptional diplomatic communication skills and experience in handling difficult customer situations. Must be detail-oriented and have the ability to multi-task. #J-18808-Ljbffr
