Hyster-Yale Materials Handling, Inc, a world-class manufacturer of industrial lift trucks, has an outstanding opportunity for an exceptional and talented Business Development Representative I based at our Greenville, NC location.
What you will do:
- Engage with targeted Major Accounts early in the sales cycle to create meaningful customer interactions.
- Utilize various sales and marketing tools to make direct contact with identified leads and accounts, develop qualified opportunities, and ensure these opportunities are covered by Major Account Managers and dealers according to strategic plans.
- Meet specific metrics related to completed calls, conversations, and maintain a quota of new qualified opportunities.
- A proactive communicator who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can build strong relationships with potential clients.
- A detail-oriented professional with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- A self-starter with a collaborative mindset, eager to contribute to team goals.
- Bachelor's degree preferred for entry-level candidates.
- Associate's degree with 1-3 years of relevant experience in customer relationship management, sales, or marketing.
- In lieu of a degree 4 or more years of relevant experience in customer relationship management, sales, or marketing.
- Proficient in using MS Office Suite and other basic computer applications.
- Able to analyze data to prioritize tasks and make informed business decisions.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, along with solid time management and analytical abilities.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with a focus on building and maintaining business relationships.
