We are a one-stop-shop for high-end, fully transformed, kick-ass kitchens and baths. In addition, we are deeply immersed in the Glastonbury community, giving back through hosting and sponsoring charity events, volunteering and always networking.Job Title: Residential Construction Jobsite Manager
Job Summary:
Excellent opportunity for a qualified team player with a self-starter attitude, great organization and communication skills. The ideal candidate will be able to manage a warehouse with incoming/outgoing materials, oversee jobsite cleanliness and quality, interact with other team members and trade sub-contractors as well as communicate with clients and vendors. As the front line in achieving company goals, the jobsite manager must focus on feasibility, product quality, timeliness and customer satisfaction.
This position is part-time plus, roughly 30 hours/week. Pay will be $30/hour. A company truck, phone and gas card will be provided. There will be a 30 day probationary period. Vacation, sick time and 401K matching benefits after 1 year.
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS:
-Accuracy and attention to detail
-Solid organizational skills
-Able to problem solve and troubleshoot
-Basic knowledge/understanding of construction methods and various trades. Minimally, feels comfortable learning about them.
-Ability to interact and effectively communicate with the Client, Team members, and Subcontractors throughout the job
-Self-starter and independent worker
-Positive attitude
-Fast learner
OTHER TECHNIAL REQUIREMENTS:
-Must be able to perform physical activities such as, but not limited to, lifting equipment (up to 75 lbs. unassisted), bending, standing or walking.
-Must be able to interpret plans and elevations
- Must be able to use Excel and Word as well as scheduling apps.
-Must have reliable transportation to arrive at the shop daily
-Must pass a background check, hold a valid drivers license
- Must have a clean appearance
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES: Jobsite Manager is responsible for the successful overseeing of jobsites, acquisition and delivery of materials, maintaining inventory lists and organizing materials at the shop while maintaining a high level of quality, safety, and professional communication. They will be responsible for receiving materials, delivering materials, cleanout of jobsites, various minor handyman-type tasks, keeping track of inventory, shop/material organization. Travel to jobsites to meet with subcontractors and analyze problems and progress is expected. They will not perform physical labor besides delivering materials to jobsites as needed and some minor tasks. The Jobsite Manager will not be the main communication with clients but will still need to manage customer requests, questions, and inquires in a polite and business-like manner.
