Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Oversee the operational performance for the repair station

Assist Site Manager with preparation of budget plans with the assistance of the Sales & Marketing and Financial departments

Evaluate regularly capacity needs and make staffing and capital investment plans initiatives to match anticipated demand

Monitor operational and financial performance with key performance indicators (KPI) and metrics: health & Safety accident records, variance reports to standards, productivity, efficiency, quality, working capital, gross profit, revenue per employee, costs reduction

Review monthly variances and provide corrective action plans

Review daily production schedules and assignments with production staff

Maintain adherence to sales plan

Review monthly product overall costs and correct negative variances trends

Visit customers in support of marketing initiatives and participate in customer presentations

Maintain communication with customers updates on order and quote status

Maintain good housekeeping and a safe environment, adherence to Health & Safety company policies and OSHA requirements

Assess periodically staff performance; provide feedback to managers and recommend adjustments as needed

Maintain training and development of personnel with the assistance of the centralized functional departments: HR, IT, Quality, CI and Engineering. Promote a collaborative business environment through round tables, employee involvement team projects and other team events such as Kaizen, continuous improvement activities

Perform annual appraisal of direct reports and establish measurable personal goals and objectives

Communicate business updates to employees through monthly employee meetings, posted bulletins or other business communications

Participate in corporate activities such as management/leadership/ development programs, monthly, quarterly and annual reviews

Various other duties as assigned by Supervisor.

Participate in training as required

5-10% Domestic Travel required


Requirements:

Must be a “US Person” as defined by US Government and able to work without restriction with ITAR related data.

High School Diploma or GED required

Bachelors in Manufacturing, Engineering, or related field preferred

10+ years experience in Aerospace Manufacturing

5+ years or more of operational management experience, with a strong background in labor and employee relations preferred

Proven ability to manage a staff with diverse background and skill level

Demonstrated capability to drive change, bring innovations and grow significantly revenues.

Technical competency related to aircraft engine components

Technically savvy in manufacturing processes such as: Turning, milling, grinding, assembly, deburring and special processes: ECI, FPI, MPI, and Borescope, inspection, cleaning, peening, and blasting.

Proficient with Microsoft Office applications

Experienced with MRP systems, preferably Syteline

Demonstrated flexibility, agility and success in a fast track manufacturing operation
