Hilton Senior Manager, International Tax Operations ***The location for this position is virtual/remote*** This is your chance to be part of a Finance Team that is a critical business partner that manages all global activities related to financial performance, accounting, tax, forecasting, risk management, and asset management. As a Senior Manager of International Tax Operations on the International Tax Operations team reporting to the Director of International Tax Operations you will focus on tax compliance required under U.S. tax law for non-U.S. activity as well as international tax calculations necessary for U.S. GAAP quarterly reporting. HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT Your role is important and below are some of the fundamental job duties that make your work unique. What your day-to-day will be like: Direct and develop direct reports within the International Tax Operations team Manage processes, activities, and tasks of the International Operations team to ensure U.S. tax compliance and quarterly provision deadlines are met Develop and implement process improvements to optimize resources Conduct tax research and document findings/positions Oversee ad hoc International Tax related projects How you will collaborate with others: Cooperate with Domestic Operations group to ensure efficient collation of U.S. and non-U.S. results Consult with non-tax functional groups such as Treasury, Accounting, and Legal to further departmental and company objectives Support Tax Planning & Forecasting, Tax Reporting, and Tax Controversy groups Work with Tax Tech on process improvements What deliverables you will take ownership of: Compliance for non-U.S. tax activity required under U.S. tax laws and regulations U.S. tax calculations related to non-U.S. components of quarterly tax provision reporting (e.g., deemed inclusions, FDII, and FSI/FTC) Memos documenting research and findings of tax positions WHY YOU'LL BE A GREAT FIT You have these minimum qualifications: Seven (7) years in a Big 4 / U.S. multinational corporation tax environment Five (5) years in international tax Two (2) years of management experience Hilton is proud to support the mental and physical wellbeing of all Team Members so they can Thrive personally and professionally in a diverse and inclusive environment, thanks to programs and benefits such as: Go Hilton travel program: 100 nights of discounted travel with room rates as low as $40/night Hilton Shares: Our employee stock purchase program (ESPP) - you can purchase Hilton shares at a 15 percent discount Paid parental leave for eligible Team Members, including partners and adoptive parents Mental health resources including free counseling through our Employee Assistance Program Paid Time Off (PTO) It would be useful if you have: Hilton, the #1 World's Best Workplace, is a leading global hospitality company with a diverse portfolio of world-class brands.
