Responsibilities

Respond to customer inquiries and concerns in a call center environment, utilizing standardized scripts and procedures. Gather information, assess customer needs, conduct research, resolve inquiries, and accurately log customer interactions. Provide clear and concise information regarding claim status, Medicaid member details, and enrollment processes. Serve as an advocate for Medicaid clients or providers, ensuring their needs are met and addressing concerns effectively. Educate clients about managed care access, rights, and benefits using outreach scripts. Manage voicemail and fax routers, ensuring timely responses to incoming queries. Complete assigned training and maintain quality standards by tracking daily tasks. Adapt and take on additional responsibilities as needed.

Suggested Skills

One year of experience in medical insurance or medical office settings.

Working Hours

Typically, 8 AM to 5 PM, Monday to Friday. Limited overtime may be necessary to meet contractual obligations.
