Position Overview:

The Customer Engagement Specialist plays a pivotal role in managing the daily functions of the Wine Club, ensuring exceptional service to our clientele. This position is integral in fostering customer loyalty and enhancing the experience of direct-to-consumer patrons and wine club members while maintaining the esteemed brand reputation. Collaborating with various teams and external partners, the specialist identifies unique opportunities to boost customer acquisition, member conversion, and wine sales, all while ensuring a seamless experience for members.

Compensation Overview:
  • Salary Range: $27.12 / hr - $40.67 / hr
  • Potential eligibility for bonuses and incentive plans.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support DTC Business Development and Hospitality teams to enhance customer acquisition, member conversion, and sales.
  • Deliver outstanding customer service through prompt responses to inquiries via various communication channels.
  • Represent the Wine Club in the tasting room, building rapport with members.
  • Execute targeted outreach campaigns for exclusive events and promotions, tracking results and updating customer information.
  • Oversee direct-to-consumer order fulfillment, including scheduling and inventory management.
  • Create engaging shipment materials to enhance the customer experience.
  • Address and resolve order compliance issues, conducting monthly reviews of DTC orders.
  • Monitor inventory levels to ensure adequate stock for fulfillment needs.
  • Develop and maintain transactional communications to ensure effective delivery and customer satisfaction.
  • Manage product merchandising on the website and point of sale, including promotions and product collections.
  • Ensure accurate reporting of membership incentives to support effective management.
  • Assist with consumer events to drive membership growth and retention.
  • Exhibit entrepreneurial spirit and accountability in all tasks.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree with 2 years of experience in relationship marketing or customer service; or an Associate's degree with 4 years of relevant experience; or a high school diploma with 6 years of increasing responsibility in a related field.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Familiarity with the wine industry is preferred.
  • Ability to comprehend and execute instructions and correspondence effectively.
  • Physical capability to lift and move products weighing up to 40 lbs.
  • Willingness to travel as needed for business purposes.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Communications, or Marketing with 4 years of relevant experience.
  • Proficiency in wine club management and POS systems.
  • Experience in presenting information and addressing inquiries from diverse audiences.
