As part of our culture, our staff continually reviews designs and manufacturing processes to exceed our customer's expectations. These reviews generally result in a better design for ease of fabrication, higher quality material, finishes and improved functionality for our customers.

At Quality Fabricators, our Human Resources Specialist oversees our most valuable asset: our people. They play a critical role in maintaining a positive work environment, facilitating continuous learning, ensuring compliance with policies, and supporting employees. Here are the key responsibilities:

Job Description

Employee Relations and Engagement:
  • Act as an intermediary for employee questions, comments, and concerns
  • Communicate policies, updates, and organizational changes
  • Respond to benefit-related inquiries
  • Address and intermediate conflict when necessary
  • Ensure employee adherence to company policies
  • Address performance and behavior issues and take disciplinary actions
HR Systems Management:
  • Maintain up-to-date and legally compliant records
  • Regularly review and update HR policies and procedures
  • Oversee payroll processing and ensure accurate payments
  • Administer 401(k) plans, health insurance, and other employee benefits
  • Manage daily attendance
  • Oversee vacation/PTO requests and approvals
Oversee the Employee Life Cycle Processes:
  • Manage recruitment processes
  • Coordinate the interviewing of candidates
  • Work with local partners to place and integrate high school/college apprentices
  • Lead new employee orientation and training programs
  • Work with our training and development partners/programs to support employee development initiatives (workshops, cross-training, coursework, etc.)
  • Handle terminations and offboarding

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or equivalent experience.
  • 2-4 years of HR experience, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Proficiency in both English and Spanish is required.

Salary Range:
  • Between $70-80k
