Position Overview

We are looking for our next high-achieving sales professional with a passion for the customer. We need dedicated professionals who can help us reach breakout growth. You will be a customer champion, a highly self-motivated, extremely organized, and team-oriented professional. You will bring a track record for delivering on or exceeding revenue goals, can learn quickly, and manage a variety of technology sets.

Responsibilities

  • New Business Development via prospecting, qualifying, selling, and closing deals
  • Follow up on company-generated leads and referrals
  • Conduct one-on-one and group sales presentations highlighting Shepherds solutions
  • Build a metrics-driven sales pipeline of new opportunities
  • Track customer information, forecasts, and reports
  • Achieve quarterly & annual revenue targets
  • Become a domain and industry expert

Qualifications/Experience

  • Bachelors Degree with an emphasis in Marketing or Sales preferred but can substitute degree with 5+ years of experience selling solutions
  • Strong prospecting, networking, and business development skills
  • Proven experience managing a pipeline and closing complex deals with multiple technology partners
  • Strong client relationship skills with a track record of excellence in achieving sales targets
  • Capable of qualifying opportunities and working with other team members to close deals
  • Expertise in effectively assessing client needs
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to demonstrate a solution in person, over the phone, and via web conference
  • Mature interpersonal, time management, and analytical skills
  • Solid negotiation, conflict resolution, and people management skills
  • Must possess a valid driver's license and be able to travel locally
