We are in search of a Training Coordinator for a Social Services Organization located in Chicago, IL. This is a Full/Part-Time, Hybrid, Temporary (~6-12 mos.) assignment.

ORGANIZATION: Social Services

LOCATION: Chicago, IL

POSITION TITLE: Training Coordinator

SCHEDULE: Full or Part Time (30-40 hrs./wk.); Hybrid (2 days in office, 2-3 days remote)

DURATION: Temporary (~6-12 mos.)

PAY RATE: $22-25/hr. DOE

Is This Your Dream Position? As the Training Coordinator, you'll be responsible for coordinating, facilitating, implementing, and monitoring mandatory and quality enhancement trainings, assisting and providing technical assistance to various recipients of the organization's funding throughout the State of Illinois.

Our Ideal Candidate:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred in public administration, social work, public health, or other related fields preferred
  • Experience building positive relationships within teams and external parties
  • Knowledge of computers, including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, Salesforce, and the Internet preferred
  • A valid driver's license and current auto insurance are recommended
How You Will Spend Your Day:
  • Coordination of Training & Meetings
  1. Work with the Training Manager to maintain the development and coordination of an annual training and meeting calendar for grantees funded through the Reimagine Public Saftey Act
  2. Support the Program Manager with the coordination of meetings and training contracted through IDHS
  3. Ensure logistics training, including the trainers, securing locations if necessary, managing registration, and all other coordination needs such as pre and post-training emails with evaluation surveys and resources
  4. Assist trainers with technology by providing training run-throughs.
  5. Adapt and manage the registration process and resource distribution for Zoom
  6. Respond to any questions and/or concerns regarding training logistics and implementation from trainers and registrants/attendees
  7. Carry out all distribution of evaluations, certificates of attendance, and continuing education units (CEUs) for all training
  • Support with Quality Assurance
  1. Track attendance and evaluation reports for all trainings and meetings on Salesforce
  2. Complete at least one training observation on each contracted trainer per year
  3. Ensure all training agendas, presentations, and materials are tracked and saved to the organization's SharePoint network
  • Support the Team
  1. Work in collaboration with the organization's Programs team and other departments as needed
  2. Participate in program team and all staff meetings
  3. Generate training reports for DHS including quarterly and annual reports and the organization's impact reports in collaboration with the Training Manager.
  4. Work in collaboration with other RPSA Training/Technical Assistance Committee members to assist in the development of an annual training needs assessment survey
  5. Collaborating with the Training team for IDHS Monthly Training Newsletter updates
