About the Position
We are looking for a Customer Care Specialist to be responsible for providing excellent customer service and maintaining a professional image as part of the company team. This is a full time, temporary position for the 2024 summer.
Youll report to the Logistics Manager at our Kalispell, MT location, focusing on these key responsibilities:
+ Smoothly answer and operate phone system, communicating with customers in a professional manner.
+ Heavy phone usage: this position will be the initial point of phone contact with our customers and will then route the traffic to a dispatcher as needed.
+ Perform data entry of customer orders, online customer portals and other information as needed.
+ Using provided tools, track driver movements and update customers on load deliveries either by phone or using online tools.
+ Perform various clerical functions to include copying, printing, filing, sending/receiving/distributing documents.
+ Provides support to dispatch team to fulfill customer and driver needs.
+ Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
+ High School diploma or equivalent
+ Excellent communication skills
+ Prior customer service and/or administrative experience
+ Strong computer experience in various programs
+ Basic math ability
+ Ability to stay calm under pressure.
+ Willing to be on-call on a rotating schedule once fully trained.
+ Ability to sit for long periods.
+ Work in moderate noise levels.
+ Work with minimum supervision.
