Position Summary

We are currently looking for a dedicated individual to join our team as an Industrial Store Customer Support Specialist. This role is essential in providing exceptional service to both walk-in and phone-in customers. Key responsibilities include:

  • Welcoming customers with professionalism and enthusiasm
  • Promptly answering incoming calls
  • Exhibiting comprehensive knowledge of products, including their placement, availability, pricing, and usage
  • Promoting and selling welding and safety products and services
  • Processing customer orders accurately and entering them into the system
  • Researching products for specialized customer needs
  • Following up on orders to ensure correct processing and resolution of any issues
  • Maintaining organized and up-to-date sales literature
  • Restocking shelves as necessary
  • Generating sales quotes for customers
  • Assisting customers with loading products into their vehicles
  • Completing additional tasks as required
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Proficient in data entry and computer usage
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Exceptional customer service abilities
  • Good understanding of industrial products and gases
  • Physical capability to lift up to 50 lbs frequently and up to 100 lbs occasionally
  • Ability to sit, stand, or walk for extended periods
  • Valid Driver's License required; CDL License is a plus
