Job purpose

The Rental/Sales Coordinator is responsible for assisting in the unit and attachment inventory control for new units and rental units while supporting the sales team and other components of Sales Management with regards to reports, project management, utilizing sales tools, CRM administration as well as marketing and communication support. Taking the lead of coordination and collaboration of the make ready processes and status updates with the sales and service teams.

Duties and responsibilities

  • Reports - Work closely with management to maintain accurate inventory control for all new and rental units and attachments to be input and properly updated in all sales systems as required.
  • Project Management - Provide a project management function for supporting the sales team through the make ready process for all rental and new unit sales by coordination of scheduling and timing with the service department. Additional projects include the use, review and updating of the chosen CRM tool, marketing, and communication programs.
  • Sales Tools - Promotion and usage of all sales forms, formats, policies and procedures for all rental and sales business such as CRM, requesting of NTR, RFF, RFD, updating the COI info for all customers and freight partners. Work to assist with setting up new customer accounts. Ordering products from manufacturers as needed.
  • Communication - Provide regular updates to the sales team of the various statuses of all units in the make ready process by working closely and coordinating with the service department.
  • Issues and enhancements - Work with specific users to define the requirements and work with CMR vendor to implement changes in the system.
  • Work with users to maintain the data to the most accurate level. Activities include, but are not limited to, de-activating records, removing duplicates, etc. Additionally, every month, the team will review and purge any data from the system. Requests from users will be captured and tracked via the internal task list.
  • Perform weekly and monthly rental cycle billing as needed or required, taking calls from sales team and customers requesting rental units or attachments.
  • Work closely with the sales team, which includes the development of collateral, coordinating the development of marketing material with 3rd party vendors based on WPI needs and keeping marketing materials up to date.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to develop communication programs, both internal and customer facing.
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
  • Must have a high school diploma or equivalent, a degree in business or similar preferred.
  • Must have a minimum of 2-3 years(s) previous experience in the construction and mining industry.
  • Proficient Computer Skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Excellent communication skills, and sound analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Must be well organized, detail-oriented, and able to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Professionalism, dependability, integrity, and trustworthiness combined with a cooperative attitude.
  • Maintain a professional appearance.
  • Promote positive and professional relationships with internal and external customers.
  • Must be willing to work and take calls after hours and on weekends as necessary.
  • Knowledge of construction or related equipment preferred.
  • Must be dependable and able to work independently.


Working Conditions
  • Typical hours of work Monday through Friday; 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
  • Weekend hours as necessary.
  • May require work in inclement weather conditions and/or hazardous work environments.
