In this Logistics Management Specialist position, you will serve as an Ordering Specialist for FEMA Region Office Three. Maintaining and analyzing supply requisition metrics for efficiency and effectiveness. Receiving and sorting all incoming and outgoing mail in accordance established procedures to include sorting, processing, date stamping, and maintaining records, logs and reports on incoming and outgoing mail. Coordinating and monitoring maintenance of mail room equipment. Tracking shipping and receiving requirements to/from field office facilities, ensures adequate control of property-in-transit, and ensures all required property management/property custody documentation is properly secured. Overseeing incident support government owned or leased vehicles to ensure their adequate care and authorized use. Scheduling the use of shared vehicles to assure the availability of pool vehicles for individual staff or group usage. Evaluates vehicle use records and identifies vehicle maintenance requirements.
