The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with our suppliers, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality products, and driving continuous improvement in our supply chain operations.
Key Responsibilities- Partner with suppliers to meet customer requirements and minimize risk
- Manage supplier performance and delivery trends, identifying opportunities for improvement
- Facilitate cross-functional communication and drive actions to prevent delays
- Provide regular written updates on mission-critical parts and delivery performance
- Track and analyze delivery performance trends, initiating root cause analysis and corrective actions as needed
- US citizenship required
- College degree preferred; additional experience may be substituted
- Minimum 5 years of manufacturing experience, preferably in aerospace, defense, or related industries
- Valid driver's license and successful completion of pre-employment motor vehicle history check
- Expertise in supply chain management, production control, and shop floor management
- Experience with continuous improvement, Lean Manufacturing, and risk management preferred
- Strong project management and analytical skills, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs
