**Responsibilities**

**Description:**

Working with the Access Management team, an Active Directory Specialist will be responsible for providing administration support for the enterprise-wide Medical Joint Active Directory (mJAD) environment as well as daily Systems Administration duties. The primary responsibility of the Active Directory Specialist will be to provide the highest quality Active Directory environment support for the DHA Global Service Center. This includes management and troubleshooting of Enterprise-wide group policies, Active Directory group consolidation, integration with identity management products, and domain operation troubleshooting. This position would provide secondary support as a Systems Administrator supporting the Information Services Windows Server platforms. Duties include installing, configuring, troubleshooting, and updating servers as well as developing and testing consistent repeatable procedures.

**Responsibilities:**

* Coordinate with customers requesting new service support involving account access requests, to define and build the appropriate access model for the support that defines how requests will be captured, validated, authorized and provisioned.

* Leverage Microsoft tools to manage mJAD active directory domain.

* Ensure that inbound access requests (DD2875s) are reviewed for accuracy and completeness, and engage the appropriate Government approval authority to validate the account request.

* Ensure all troubleshooting activities are documented in the DHA Remedy system to ensure full accountability of actions taken and also approvals received.

* Coordinate with customers (in person, by phone, or via Email) across the MHS who submit active directory access requests, to capture missing information and also to provide guidance for any local activities that need to be completed prior to the submission of the request.

* Coordinate with DHA Cybersecurity to ensure that access requests are being handled according to current security procedures and policies for new or modified user accounts.

* Track inbound requests using DHA Remedy and provide routine reporting to the Service Operations Director on any request backlogs or access issues that may be encountered.

* Other activities as assigned by the GSC management team.

**Qualifications**

**Skills:**

* Strong customer service and communications skills, both oral and written.

* Strong critical thinking skills that facilitate technical innovation.

* Ability to establish a solid working relationship with customer, staff, managers and peers.

* Strong background in Microsoft Active directory objects, policies, and account management.

**Requirements:**

* Department of Defense security clearance (ADP II Public Trust) or the ability to obtain one.

* CompTIA Security+ certification and enrolled in the CompTIA Continuing Education (CE) Program or must obtain within 90 days of employment

* BA/BS Degree and 2+ years of related technical work experience

Colorado Salary Minimum: $39,020.80

Colorado Salary Maximum:$83,428.80 The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position, and is just one component of Peratons total compensation package for employees.
