The Human Resources Coordinator provides general and administrative support in facilitating processes for the Human Resources Department across all competencies, including HRIS, Benefits and Wellness, Recruiting and Onboarding, Learning and Development, and Administration and Compliance. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Performs administrative Human Resources Department functions including processing mail, managing office supplies, answering incoming calls and requests coming through the HR main line and HR ticketing system, and processing communication through photocopy, scan, and email. Performs customer service functions by answering the main HR telephone line and responding to HR ticketing system requests and questions, redirecting employees to HR partners for assistance with more advanced issues. Provides support to the Wellness Program by assisting in planning and coordinating employee activities with a focus on mental, physical, and financial well-being. Provides support to the Benefits Program by assisting with the administration of the health and wellness plans. Provides support to the Learning and Development Program by assisting with the coordination of New Employee Orientation, administration of the Learning Management System including enrollments, changes and terminations, Performance Review process, and Service Award Program. Prepares presentations and correspondence as needed. Prepares new employee files. Performs special projects and other related duties as assigned. CORE RESPONSIB8ILITIES Assist in developing personnel procedures and policies, providing guidance and interpretation for business operations. Promote diversity awareness throughout all HR programming. Manages and resolves complex employee relations issues. Conduct effective, thorough, and objective investigations. Create, review, and audit employee personnel files to ensure compliance with Federal and State regulations, as well as Department of Health and Hospitals, Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF), and other applicable funder requirements. Manage HR Ticketing system and respond to HR inquiries. Serve as culture ambassadors by articulating and modeling the agency’s values, and ensuring the culture is shared throughout the employee life cycle. Performs other related duties as assigned. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES: This position requires knowledge, skills, and abilities equivalent to: Minimum of 2 years of experience in the HR field with an emphasis on coordinator duties. Ability to work flexible hours and travel to various Programs as needed. Ability to interact and work effectively with staff at all levels. Self-starter with the ability to organize and manage multiple priorities, projects, and demands. Intermediate-level proficiency in MS Office 365 products. Demonstrated excellent organizational skills, teamwork, and communication skills. Strong professional ethics which include approaching others in a tactful manner, reacting well under pressure, treating others with respect and consideration regardless of their status or position and maintaining confidentiality. SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: Travels to other locations as appropriate in the performance of duties and responsibilities. Must have: Current driver’s license issued by state of residence Current vehicle insurance Current vehicle registration in state of residence Satisfactory Motor Vehicle Report Must be able to pass a criminal history investigation.
