Summary:

The Grant Accounting Specialist manages the financial aspects of grants awarded to Intermountain Centers and Affiliates

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Responsible for understanding and tracking compliance with grant terms and conditions throughout each grant's lifecycle. Develop a relationship with program managers and grantors to assist with maintaining grant compliance. Generate financial reports which provide a clear overview of how the grant funds are utilized. Monitor expenses related to the grant to ensure that funds are spent in accordance with the grant agreement. Maintain accurate and organized financial records to ensure that all financial transactions related to each grant are properly documented and recorded. Assist with tracking grant invoices and payments for accurate receivables reconciliations. Prepare for and assist with audits related to grant funds. Responsible for grant close out. This includes reconciling all financial transactions, ensuring that any unspent funds are returned to the grantor or properly allocated, and completing any required final reports. Works in a team environment with the shared goal of providing accurate, timely and relevant financial information. P

erforms other related duties as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS: Education –

associate degree in accounting or business-related field. Experience –

2-3 years of experience working in a grant related business environment. REGULATORY: Minimum 21 years of age. DPS Level I fingerprint clearance if required (must possess upon hire and maintain throughout employment). CPR, First Aid, AED certification, if required (must possess upon hire and maintain throughout employment). Current, valid Arizona Driver’s License and 39-month Motor Vehicle Report and proof of
