PRIMARY FUNCTION

We are seeking an experienced HR Associate I to join the Hart to Heart Transportation team for our SEPTA operation based in Philadelphia, PA. The incumbent will manage the sites Driver Schedule, including planning and keeping track of shifts and forecasting consumer demand, employee availability, skills, and preferences. In addition, Associate will assist with day-to-day operations of the HR Functions and duties, including providing administrative support to the HR Manager, compiling, and updating employee records, processing documentation, and preparing reports relating to personnel activities (i.e., staffing, recruitment, training, and performance evaluations).

PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Assist personnel with general HR inquiries throughout the entire employee life cycle, including technical support for HR and personnel related systems.

Partner with the sites Operational Leadership Team to manage the Drivers Schedule, including reviewing and monitoring the plan, coordinating shift coverage, inputting accurate information in the crew scheduler and Traumasoft, including removing and adding personnel to the schedule and granting overtime shifts and or additional hours resulting in overtime.

Maintain employee-related documentation and ensure the data and files are effectively managed and protected under applicable compliance laws.

Work with field trainers to schedule new hire orientation and field orientation; support and assist with the planning and facilitation of relevant HR and company sponsored events, including employee engagement activities.

Assist in the recruitment process, coordinate employee recognition activities, assist employees with Benefits enrollment and answer benefit-related questions.

Assist in the collection, organization, and analysis of HR data such as employee demographics, turnover rates, goals, and metrics to generate HR reports.

Maintain team member phone list and support HR special projects.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

1-3 years of HR experience and or related experience in scheduling and administration.

Highly responsive, results oriented, organized, and thrives in a fast-paced operation.

Effective communication, active listening, and time management skills.

Ability to establish and maintain interpersonal relationships and work well as part of a diverse team.

Initiative taker with high diligence, project follow-through, and ability to manage multiple priorities in a challenging environment.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, as well as other Microsoft Office Suite products.

Ability to perform time-sensitive tasks with necessary interruptions while remaining focused.

Ability to prioritize and efficiently meet a deadline and have a strong work-ethic.
