**The Administrative Assistant provides support and organization to the Business Office and Senior Management team while maintaining confidentiality to the utmost.**

- A current MA driver’s license and a driving record acceptable to our insurance carrier are required along with an acceptable criminal background history.

**Essential Functions, Duties, and Responsibilities**
- Serve as welcoming presence in the reception area.
- Answer phones and direct calls to appropriate staff members.
- Manage incoming faxes
- Sort and distribute incoming mail
- Prepare postage for outgoing mail
- Log incoming checks
- Review weekly outgoing checks and electric transfers to staff and vendors
- Create thank you letters for donations
- Manage the conference room calendar, training schedules and set up rooms accordingly
- Coordinate and distribute monthly on-call schedule
- Register staff for required training sessions
- Perform other duties as assigned

**WORK ENVIRONMENT**

The Administrative Assistant’s work environment is primarily in an office. He/She may be required, and/or have the opportunity to work from his/her home, or other designated off site location. He/She may be required to travel for business purposes to include, but not be limited to, training conferences.

**Job Qualifications**

The Administrative Assistant shall have a minimum of an Associate’s degree in business or related field. Other appropriate related combinations of education and experience may substitute. Must also be proficient in MS Office.
