The Administrative Assistant performs varied advanced secretarial and administrative work requiring initiative and independent judgment. This position performs a variety of invoicing and inventory activities. Requiring knowledge of accounting principles and basic computer skills. The position works independently under general direction; handles problems and non-routine situations by determining the approach or action to take.

**Essential Duties**:

- Executes a variety of office administrative and/or secretarial support activities for supervisor such as interpreting and explaining established policies and procedures in response to inquiries from a variety of sources, evaluating and resolving problems within scope of position.
- Performs accounting functions including payment proscessing, invoicing, and inventory. Responsible for various accounts payable processes including the review and posting of payments and invoices.
- Maintains, ensures reliability accuracy and updates databases, Quick Books accounting system, or other software programs; prepares special and recurring reports containing specialized or sensitive information. Ensures accuracy and privacy of private information when accessing required databases.
- Prepares spreadsheets using Excel and written communication using Outlook and Word.
- Provides office operations support such as receiving and screening telephone calls and visitors.
- Works independently under broad direction

**Desired Qualifications**:

- Experience with: cash handling.
- Experience in performing detailed numerical computations
- Experience in customer service
- Demonstrated experience in scheduling and supervising.
- Experience establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with staff, work crews, vendors, delivery personnel and guests to the company.
- Demonstrated experience multitasking
- Demonstrated problem solving resolution skills

Pay: From $45,000.00 per year
