**Position Summary**:
This career executive Director position works under the general supervision of the Deputy Commissioner and has executive oversight responsibilities of the Office of Operational Management for OCI. This position serves as the main point of contact for all of the agency’s IT, budget, and accounting functions. This position has responsibility for working with OCI internal staff, as well as with OCI’s external partners such as Department of Administration (DOA) Shared Services and miscellaneous vendors, to lead the management and implementation of IT projects, including funding and timing of solutions. Responsibilities also include oversight of the agency budget, including coordinating biennial budget requests, as well as formulating and implementing policy and programmatic decisions that align with overall goals and strategy set by the Commissioner and Deputy Commissioner. This position will also serve as the point of contact for the OCI Continuity of Operations Plan (COOP).

**Qualifications**:
**Qualified applicants will have experience with all the following**:

- Supervisor duties such as directing and guiding the work of employees, developing performance standards for employees, providing direction to ensure policies followed, or other similar duties.
- General project management experience including such activities as: planning and developing the project, monitoring progress, setting deadlines, problem resolution, tracking expenditures to ensure budget parameters are met, project performance management, etc.
- Budget experience such as overseeing budget performance, providing reports to executive management, making recommendations for periodic budget adjustments, and other similar duties.
- IT management experience such as identifying the IT needs of an organization, planning and overseeing multiple projects, estimating project costs and expenditures, designating project resources and other similar duties.

- Budget and general government accounting processes following the State’s procedures and guidelines.
